15-Minute Heritage Grants

The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Cadw have teamed up to launch their 15-Minute Heritage Grants scheme for projects that help to connect communities in Wales with their local heritage and deepen people’s engagement with the heritage to be found within fifteen minutes of their homes.

Grants of between £3,000 and 10,000 are available for projects that might include new walking trails, murals or informative window displays, or engaging digital resources, such as interactive maps, videos, exhibitions and podcasts.

The deadline for applications is the 14 October 2020 and further information can be found on the National Lottery Heritage Fund website (https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/funding/15-minute-heritage-grants-wales).

The Royal Commission has a number of resources and services to help anyone applying for a grant or delivering a successful project. We have a very large archive of historic photographs, plans and records that you could include in any scheme. In the first place we suggest that you search our Coflein website for relevant material. In addition to the digital images and records accessible through Coflein we have a large archive of material that has not been scanned, so it is always worth making an enquiry via our public enquiries service.

Our services are free and we are very happy to help you!
