Our Sponsors 2017

Gold Sponsor:

Luminous Logo As early adopters of digital surveying we have built a reputation on our innovative turnkey solutions since as far back as 1988.

Our core specialisms in 3D data capture and imaging, BIM and virtual reality, are now offered in three dedicated service areas; Digital Surveys, Digital Architecture and Digital VR, all housed under one Luminous roof.

With over a quarter of a century of experience working with clients across the globe, in sectors including construction, architecture, engineering and heritage tourism, Luminous is what we are now, and we provide revolutionary solutions that will achieve your project goals and exceed your expectations.

 Silver Sponsor:

Friends of the Newport Ship logo

The Friends of the Newport Ship is a registered charity, run wholly by volunteers. It started as a campaign to save the ship, but now supports the ship project.

The active members of the Friends have contributed thousands of hours of voluntary work, but even members who can’t assist directly provide vital support. Merely by joining they help demonstrate the level of public interest in the ship. That’s vital as we seek donations, sponsorship, grants and to get commitment to complete the project. All Friends are kept up to date with a Newsletter twice a year and have the opportunity to attend lectures and other events.

Orangeleaf Systems Ltd are a Digital Heritage Consultancy specialising in the development of online public access interfaces to the Historic Environment Record, Archive, Museum and Library collections. Formed in 1998, we produce a product called CollectionsBase: a metadata repository, WordPress based search interface and search room management and online ordering system.  Working with the standards of MIDAS, CIDOC CRM, SPECTRUM and ISAD(G) we are unique within the UK in our experience of almost all of the HER, Archive and Museum Collection Management Systems.

2016/2017 Welsh projects include the fully bilingual Denbighshire Archives/Archifau Sir Ddinbych, and Battlefields/Meysyddbrwydro for RCAHMW both of which have full web mapping interfaces to modern and digitised historic map layers.

Please feel free to contact James Grimster either in conference or on 01743 352000 for an informal, no obligation discussion of your project
