‘Churches Unlocked: Discovering Wallpaintings in Welsh Churches’, talk by Richard Suggett and Christopher Catling

Join Richard Suggett and Christopher Catling on Monday, 5 June, at 7pm for a fascinating evening focusing on our church heritage.

Richard was a Senior Investigator (Historic Buildings) at the Royal Commission and his book, ‘Painted Temples: Wallpaintings and Rood-screens in Welsh Churches, 1200–1800’, was the result of his many years of research into the subject. This book will form the basis of his talk.

Christopher Catling is Secretary of the Royal Commission, the chair of Llandaff DAC and writes extensively on heritage matters. His talk will focus on the need to ensure our church buildings are sustainable for the future.

This talk is free and open to all, however tickets are limited so to avoid disappointment please book in advance.

For full information and to book your tickets go to the Churches Unlocked website.
