Celebrating Strata Florida

Festival of Archaeology: 15/16 July, Celebrating Strata Florida, 10am – 4.30pm at Strata Florida Abbey, Pontrhydfendigaid, Ceredigion, SY25 6ES. Two days of events for all with exhibitions, displays, talks, tours and archaeology. Speakers will include Richard Suggett, The Welsh Farmhouse, Dafydd Johnson Strata Florida in Welsh Poetry, and Gerald Morgan The Steadman Family. On Sunday 16 July there will be a celebration of 1,000 years of worship at Strata Florida with the Nanteos Cup on display, a number of religious services and a poetry reading.
