23 February, The Holywell Class of 2018, 1.30p ─3.30pm, Commemorating the Forgotten U-boat War around the Welsh Coast 1914-18. A talk by the Royal Commission’s Maritime Officer, Deanna Groom, outlining the aims of a two- year HLF-supported project between the Royal Commission and the Centre for Applied Marine Sciences, Bangor University, to survey First World War wrecks around the coast of Wales and involve coastal communities in telling the stories of the ships, and the men and women on board. This talk will be held at St Peter’s Church, Rosehill, Holywell, CH8 7TL. All welcome, £5 for non-members.
