An aerial photograph of  Pendinas Hillfort with a light scattering of snow taken on 2 December 2010. Both the older South Fort and  later North Fort, and Wellington Monument, are clearly visible with the village of Penparcau  lying below. The Royal Commission’s NHLF- funded partnership project with Dyfed Archaeological Trust has had  a very successful year with two volunteer- assisted excavations and  a full community outreach programme. This will continue until September 2024.
