An introduction to the themes of the Royal Commission’s forthcoming book Archaeoleg Ucheldir Gwent / The Archaeology of Upland Gwent, covering the archaeology of the north-western corner of the historic county of Monmouthshire.
The sites range from prehistoric burial mounds and standing stones to Roman roads and forts, and from medieval castles and churches to impressive industrial archaeology. Free admission by ticket.
