
U-Boat Project Exhibition visits Milford during Discover the Haven Week
During a week of celebrations of the Naval and maritime history of Milford Haven, the U-Boat Project 1914-18 exhibition will be on display at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven SA73 3AW from Wednesday 29 May until Friday 31 May 2019.
U-boat Exhibition
Come and see the U-boat Project’s full exhibition revealing the startling results of new surveys of Great War period wrecks. The displays feature 3D animations and models and tells forgotten stories uncovered by community groups around Wales.
“The U-boat Project’s exhibition is a fascinating visual study of the impact of the sea war on Wales …it deserves a prominent, permanent home” J D Davies, maritime historian and author.
The U-Boat Project team will be on hand to answer questions and to provide family activities relating to the exhibition.

Week of Events
The week of events co-ordinated by Haven Waterfront includes guided walks from the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre; talks by Dr Simon Hancock on Navy Ship built at Neyland in the 18th century and Dr Innes MacCartney on HMS Warrior 1905 at the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre; displays and workshops at the West Wales Maritime Heritage Society Museum, Hancock’s Yard; and wildlife spotting boat trips onboard the MV Discovery from Milford Waterfront.
